A: Yes, you can and yes, you should protect it - also NPC's are eager to destroy Bases.

Q: Omg i can't beat these NPC.
A: Belief me, you can, it's a matter of the Equipment and Ship you are using. And if you feel alone, just hire yourself a few wingmen or join a faction.

Q: How can i earn money - i need it badly?
A: Commodities have different weights and need different space to be stored in your Ship. There is a slight difference between a small credit chip and Ship Hull Panels. As a Tip: There are Trains and Transporters.

Q: What is that station with a (P) at the end of the Name.
A: You really want to get it friendly

Q: I was attacked by a Player called ...bot or something else - he killed me in a second.
A: Welcome to the Space where Bots are behind you, you are not alone.

Q: Why is my Faction N00b?
A: Because you still have the beginners Ship - it´s ok to learn the Mod while being protected - it´s nice because no one will harm you, still this is the price and ofc. you miss many many ships to fly with.

Q: I was attacked by another human Player.
A: Most likely your affiliation is hostile to him, remember, if you don´t want to be part of the Role play, play with one of the two beginners ship, wearing the n00b token will make you being save.

Q: Has SoF something to do with 88Flak?
A: Yes, it has - 88Flak is the Base of SoF - There are changings in the Mod making it SoF instead of 88 Flak.

Q: Are there hidden Systems?
A: Oh yes. Let´s go, try to find them!
A small hint: It´s brutal hard to survive there, so you must be well prepared before you enter such a Sytem...

I also have to answer with a "no".
It was not necessary but with the current amount of information it was a logical step. Right now it is not possible for me to do individual judgement.
I might be wrong but I believe not that all PX share the same views and are responsible for what has happened during the past months. Individual judgement will be considered once requested by these players.

What has lead to this decision?
Puhh, where to start?
- war like conflicts
- unreasonable ultimatums
- broken RP rules
- false accusations
- disturbing events
- the try to ruin other players reputation
- broken server rules
- undermining and ignoring the admin decisions combined with smartass answers
- DWs secret wish to replace me as admin
- ...
- ...
- ...
All in all PX does not appear to be a clan that cares about nothing but PX itself.
Personally I have real problems with clans which tell their members not to play together with other players or even to stay away from the SWAT community (both has happened).
Just alone this year I had to spend 2-3 weeks investigating with all these issues and spending my time on the server or reading tons of logs and PMs because of all this crap.
Time that couldnt be used to do anything constructive.... just because a few people think that they have the most important clan on the server.

This chapter is over now.
PX got more than enough warnings and for sure more than enough time to do changes.
If they think otherwise they just should think back a few weeks how much time they have granted to the absent BG leader.
You know... life is like a pendulum.

This is the meaning of Mr. SWAT OP.

Several things have to be cleared now - simply to make the points he was leaving behind in the typical Crossfire Nebulas.

Since several years SWAT is supporting only one RP at Crossfire due to the original intention of Crossfire as being the Clanserver of BG. In the past it gave a few Clans which was banned or was leaving the server because of ongoing problems for years. The list would be too long to post it here but is for sure the biggest one every Freelancer Server had in History.

|PX| never was and will be a Clan which liked to fight other Clans for no reason but will also never be a clan which will not defend itself.

War like conflicts are normal when being attacked - on Crossfire PX did not fought a War for more than two or three Days. These so called Wars was on Clan SA a former Police Clan competing in the Monopoly RP (you can read the Story here on the board) and another Police Clan UR who's members attacked us without warning (koS) and was sending spies in our Ranks.

SA stepped back and changed their claim to overtake our Monopoly.

The so called unreasonable ultimatums was two, one of it was on the UR Member Dino who was as Black Knight spying PX (find it on this board). The ultimatum was send to the UR Command as a demand to stop any further activities against PX and fire Dino for stopping the hostilities.

PX was forced to stop defending ourselves and the admin demanded to find a solution even though we was the attacked party.

The next one was to the BG Command to stop their Member (Husker) in attacking our former Home System at Crossfire.

Our way was not to instantly start fighting BG for attacking our Home System, we went to the SWAT Portal and asked for a clarification within 24 hours while after this request no single BG Commander, even though they was informed personally in the Game and via PMs, had the balls to show up for a clarification a honest declaration of War or an apology. After it we was so bad to extend the time they had and we openly announced that we will take any out of RP attack as a declaration of War and will start to react after it instead of crashing the BG Clan as they would have deserved it.

I personally consider this situation as an evidence of incapacity of that Clan. When the pressure went up, BG surprisingly had one of their Leaders returning and active who was able to make their attack ships leaving our System.

Broken RP rules are an excuse to finally find something to argue. PX ever played by the Rules.

False accusations are a sport on CF - the admin himself does it, so his clan and followers must not step down to also do it. His assumption this time is most likely going to my Video of Cro (you can watch it on this board) and to get an idea why we never deleted the video ask Mr. Operator for the Anti Cheat Logs of the Crossfire Server for the 10. of December 2011. After his Message i went to the CF Server trying several Timer Cheats and reported them all to OP because 90% worked without getting banned by the Anti Cheat - instead of saying thanks, Cro was allowed to stay on the Crossfire Server. Not only that we had several video evidences even the admin himself did... nothing. Tbh. i can accept a decision to let a cheater play to improve an anti cheat program but not the Cheater himself ofc. this simply leads to a non trust able situation.

The mentioned Event was never properly announced in any kind - no one even knew about this event except the few guys playing it while we did what we was hired for, killing some Cops in X - who ofc. started to cry of being fragged.

Ruin Players Reputation? huh? It is the Forum of Mr. SWAT himself which is supporting the deepest dye of degrading and trolling spammers within the entire Freelancer Community. No other Board allows notarial liars and flamers.

Again broken Server Rules - I just can say, i never got an info of the Admin that any PX broke a Server Rules, another excuse.

Undermining and ignoring admin decisions - wherever he got that from it´s nothing i personally can reconstruct. He is the Admin of the CF Server and the SWAT Board thats it, everything else have to be a request.

DWs (that´s me) secret wish to replace OP as the Admin - lol - in this he is referring to a message in the LB of SWAT were he told me that in his view i am not a good Clan Leader so i answered him that i also know better Admins but not see a reason to throw it into his face. One more try to create something evil - while not even thought about, that when he would leave the Server alone it would simply die - well, now it´s not that interesting for me personal anymore whether or not the CF Server will die or survive - we have to have a look to other nice daughters of Freelancer or create something similar.

Let´s make a few assumptions about the real reasons:

You |PX| worked hard in the last years to get the needed skills to defend yourselves and you managed to do it very well. Some of you belongs to the very best fighters. You fought most of the time outnumbered and won. Your Missile skills are marvelous still your Gunfire needs to be improved ^^.

You |PX| are the richest Guys ever on that Server, your wealth will be unrivaled for a long time. The last stats showed 120 Billion credits and more than 500 Ships on that Server - that for sure took very long to ban them all.

You |PX| are the most organized Clan i personally ever saw - you always act as one man and fulfilled your personal duties purposefully and correct, no matter of the circumstances. Often you got orders which was nearly not able to be managed but you did it, ever and ever again.

And you are working as a team, this way nobody can rule over you.

We have to face a situation where we became to powerful for a Game server so the admin felt the need to fabricate a few incidents. In my personal opinion, and around six years of experience within this Server, we tipped the scales for a very long time now. We often stopped you in releasing the power you have just because for the good of the whole and i personally consider this as wrong now since all the stepping back was not worth it.

Do not think that you did something wrong - that's not truth, it´s just the faint of others who want to be strong without working for it - so they back stab.

For the moment just make holidays wherever you want for a few weeks, you all deserve it.

How to avoid Grafic Problems in Freelancer

Freelancer had it´s Release in 2003.

You might think, well, perfect my Grafic Card is from 2009 this Game will run perfect within my High End Gaming System.

But unfortunal this old Game may not recognise your Card.

For this Louva-Deus (cudos man) updated the File which is responsible for the detection of you grafics card on a regular base. Unfortunal the File is now outdated.

But it is not that hard to do it yourself.

Just follow this manual step by step to put your grafic card into the database, so the game will proper recognize it:

First of all you need the manufacturer and the vendor of your Grafics Card.

With a freeware Tool called GPU-Z it will be easy to find out:

1) Download this tool by using this GPU-Z Download Link .

It´s an exe file, you do not need to install anything. Simply doubleclick it whereever you downloaded it to (on Vista and above with Admin rights please).

You will see something similar like this:

The marked parts are what you need.

1) Now open your mypathtofreelancer\Freelancer\EXE Directory in your Explorer.
2) Search for a file named flconfigdatabase.txt and open it with for example notepad (if the file is write protected you need to disable the write protection first).
3) Search your manufacturer in the file - in my case NVIDIA
4) Have a look where your type of Card is listed - in my case GeForce
5) Scroll down to the last GeForce (or ofc. your Crads type) entry - in Crossfire 1.9 it´s:

0x0398 = "GeForce Go7600 (??)" // added by Louva-Deus

for the GeForce Cards.

6) Now insert your Grafic Cards Vendor by using the second marked part of GPU-Z which is in my case 0A34 - simply put a 0x before and the correct name of your Card without the name of the manufacturer behind it so it will look like this for example:

0x0A34 = "GeForce GT 240M" // added by Daywalker

7) Save the File.

You will notice that several glitches will not exsist anymore. Also you will be able to see the Mega Asteroids which makes mining more profitable and some more things. In many cases where spawning NPC´s stucked the Game it also went away.
