In the Picture Section you will find not only some Pictures this time but the new Galaxy Maps also. While Crossfire 1.7 offers two Galaxies, 1.8 will offer three of them. The Galactic Core contains many additional Systems, aswell as Altair got some brand new Systems.

The relative calm and peace that has eased spirits lately is beginning to resemble more and more to the calm before a storm, as the ASF/CSF ceasefire nears to an end. As we all know, the ASF/CSF battles from the last couple of months were the scene of fierce fighting that seems to get more savage after each ceasefire. As we brace ourselves watching the ASF and CSF forces deploy and reinforce positions, reports of criminal acts and crime related violence are multiplying. Apparently, there is talk about a coordination of unlawful forces that would aim at undermining state and police authority. The rumours are not yet confirmed neither by intelligence agencies nor by government officials but reliable sources within the Liberty Security Force point out that LSF statistics concerning crime paint an alarming picture if crime rates go up at the present rate.

Celebration in Omicron Alpha

At the end of hostilities last week, the Alliance Star Fleet held a ceremony, honoring the brave and mourning the lost, at the same time celebrating the success of the operations against the CSF. The Omicron Alpha System, a key strategic position in all operations that regard the Tau systems was the place chosen for the celebration. Small ASF task forces surveilled all ways in and out of the system as the forces that fought in the Tau systems last week were joined by ASF high ranking officers on planet Malta. At the end of the ceremony, Lt-Cornel Ancalagon awarded the bravest with the „Tau” Medal.

The first reports have arrived about lawful forces raiding Nephele earlier today, attempting to seek, neutralise or aprehend known TRF members in the area as well as confiscate illegal goods. Raids of the Delta Outpost were also planned but repeated attempts to penetrate the defenses of the Bundschuh base remained without success as TRF forces together with PX mercenaries repelled wave after wave of police officers. This operation was staged at the initiative of the military Blood Guard faction, fulfilling its policing duty as always, in full force. Members of the SFP have been also sighted in the area but no violent clashes between the defenders of the Nephele systems and the Sirius Federal Police have occured.

Today, 03.06.2966 represents a day of celebration as the first breaths of the Praetorian News Network are taken. As the PX order grows more and more each day, the weight of our words and deeds becomes more important as well. In an effort to provide transparency to the world as well as to our own members, the PNN has been formed in the hope of providing an informative role, together with the Knights Channel. Our reports will be displayed on a weekly bassis on the PX forum where they will be available for consultation. If the situation deems it necessary, the PNN will transmit its reports more often when special situations arise.
